At the request of the district administration, Dr. Sabir Bux engaged in a discussion with the Central Government’s Director for Forest and Environment, along with the DM of Cuttack, to present a demonstration on effectively cleaning the underwater garbage from the River Mahanadi. Kalinga Divers Foundation (KDF) is actively supporting this initiative, working alongside the district administration and the National Pollution Control Board to remove debris, particularly in the Zobra and Maritime Museum areas of Cuttack. This collaborative effort aims to enhance the river's ecosystem and promote environmental sustainability in the region.
